Katia quickly made her way from the office of her on again off again detective boyfriend Patrick Duncan to the office bathroom. She stepped inside the bathroom, splashing some cool water onto her face with the hope that this would halp her feel more clear headed. "Get a grip, Katia, get a grip. She worked to bring the feelings of rage guilt and pain that she experienced as a result of the murder of her grandparents under control, and she did not leave the restroom until she felt she had a hold of herself.
When she emerged from the bathroom, Katia used the back entrance of the police headquarters, and met Patrick in his vehicle, where he had been patiently waiting for Katia to arrive. When Patrick clicked the button, unlocking the door to the passenger side of the car, Katia slid inside the vehcile, pulling the seat belt over her petite frame. "Let's do this."
